The Community Closet
Visit the Community Closet anytime and help yourself to any of the clean washed clothes on our racks. Thanks to the generosity of our customers (and some unclaimed lost and found) we are proud to offer a selection of clothes for adults and children at no cost. The selection is constantly changing so stop by and see what you can find.
Lakes Laundry Library
Our large bookshelf is stocked full of books (even DVD's) for you to choose from. There's always a wide range of genres including, fiction, non-fiction, self help, novels, crime, kids and more. Help yourself to a new book and even donate a book. The collection always changes and we are happy to share the love of reading with our community.
A NEW Recycling Solution
Do you haul your laundry in plastic garbage bags? Do you have grocery bags, bread bags, garment bags, newspaper sleeves, produce bags, product wrapping, air pillows, and more, at home? These can’t go in your regular recycling bins so what should you do?
Bring them to Lakes Laundry and drop them into one of our three recycle bins and we’ll do the rest. When we recycle with NexTrex not only are we helping to keep thousands of pounds of plastic film waste out of landfills, we’re also helping Trex continue to make eco-friendly outdoor products. We might even collect enough to receive our own bench made from recycled materials!
*All plastic must be clean, dry and free of food residue.

Help Lakes Laundry on our mission to be eco-friendly and either return our metal hangers, use your own re-usable hangers or purchase a reusable laundry bag. Drop a raffle ticket into the box (2 for the purchase of a laundry bag) and enter to win a $50 laundry credit each month.
